Basics of Screwdriving Technology
 
Face-to-face training at the DEPRAG Academy (Carl-Schulz-Platz 1, 92224 Amberg)
 
Do you define, adjust or monitor screwdriving parameters on a daily bases? Perhaps you would like further information about screwdriving technology in general? Then this is the right course for you. Increase your knowledge of screwdriving assembly procedures and the technology behind them. The course includes basic instructions, as well as tips and recommendations.
 
Target group:
Screwdriving technology novices, process engineers, quality control personnel, design engineers
 
Training program:

• Screw joints and their composition (hard or soft joints, metric and self-tapping joints)
• Preload force
• Influencing factors on the preload force (thread friction, under-head friction, seating conditions, operating forces etc.)
• Screw joint design
• Selection of screwdriving systems (current controlled, sensor controlled and electromechanically controlled) and their usage in accordance with VDI 2862
• Screw tightening procedures and their practical uses
• Test screw joints (retightening procedures)
• Statistically evaluate final values
• Analysis of screwdriving curves

 
Aim of the training:
Learn to apply significant influencing factors in order to improve production quality. In the training you will learn the most important technical terms used in screwdriving technology.
 
Duration: 1 day (9 am - 4 pm)
 
Percentage of theory/practice: 50 % / 50 %
 
Number of participants: max. 10 participants
 
Recommended prior knowledge:
There´s no prior knowledge required.
 
The in-house canteen takes care of physical well-being during the training days for face-to-face training at the DEPRAG Academy.
